<p><p>New studio The Gentlebros is comprised of people who used to work at Koei Tecmo on Dynasty Warriors. Some of them also used to work on Fatal Frame and Dead or Alive.</p><p>But, if anything, it's the work on Dynasty Warriors that's going to inform the studio's debut mobile game Slashy Hero.</p><p>It's an isometric hack-'n'-slasher in which you swipe your finger across the screen to have a character slice through enemies.</p><p>As this repetitive slashing is the main shtick of the game hopefully it's as satisfying as it is in Dynasty Warriors.</p><p>It's not shown off in the trailer but requiring different slashing techniques to defeat the different enemies could be enough, for example. Let's hope that's the case.</p>

<p>Towards the end of May, The Voxel Agents' revered puzzler The Gardens Between entered open beta for Android devices. It was available globally except for folks in the US. Now, it's fully released – as spotted by an eagle-eyed Reddit user – and so of course, American Android users can finally get the game too.</p><p>The Gardens Between is available as a premium title on Android devices, as well as on iOS though that version launched in May 2019. With the Switch recently launched, that's hardly surprising, but an interview with Fox News over the weekend suggested that there'll be plenty of reveals to show off for both the Switch and 3DS come July.</p><p>"E3 is always a big time for Nintendo. We look at each E3 as a unique opportunity to tell our story - and we're going to have a big E3 this year.
